Our printed A2, A1, and A0 signs are a stylish and functional way to welcome your guests, provide key information, or even add a bit of humour to your event! We can match any of our existing designs, including those from your custom invitations. This listing is for a simple welcome sign with minimal text and is not intended for more complex designs such as table plans, timelines, or order of events boards. Like all our stationery, these signs are fully customisable to your needs. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, birthday, christening, or even a corporate event, we can adapt the design to fit your occasion. One question we get asked on a daily basis is, “Can we change x, y, or z?” The answer is YES! We fully customise every sign. If you'd like to word your sign differently from those pictured, just let us know when placing your order. Want to use the design for a different event? No problem, it's fully customisable! Need to tweak the colour or design? Just add a note when ordering. Since signs require less editing than table plans or timelines, please use our separate listings for more detailed designs.

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
SHAPE
Choose from a standard rectangular shape or opt for an arch shape. Please note that custom cutting adds 3 days to the print time, so factor this into the processing time when ordering.

SIZE
We offer three sizes: A2, A1, and A0. Select your preferred size from the options available. For more details, see the Sizing tab.

Foamex
Foamex is a PVC foam board which is lightweight yet durable due to its fine cell structure and smooth, non-crumbling surface. It's water-resistant and ideal for display on easels or leaning against props. The boards are white, so any background colour will be printed.

2mm Card
This uncoated 2mm thick white card is perfect for framing or pinning up. Note that it can't be rolled up, but if you need to transport it easily, we can provide a rolled-up 235gsm poster instead. It's more susceptible to scratches and dirt than Foamex, so handle with care.

LAYOUT
Choose between portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal). If you’re ordering more than one sign and would like different layouts, just add a note to your order.

DRILLED HOLES
If you plan to hang your sign, consider adding drill holes in the top two corners or all four corners. The holes are 6mm in diameter. If you need them larger, just let us know when ordering.

ACTUAL EVENT DATE
Please provide the actual event date. The date helps us to keep track of the order and ensure you have selected the correct shipping timely delivery.

WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER BY?
Please let us know the date you absolutely need your sign to arrive by, but only if it’s essential that it arrives before your event date. We always aim to complete orders as quickly as possible, so in most cases it’s not necessary to provide an earlier date unless you have a genuine reason (for example, you’re travelling to your venue or have other deadlines to meet).

If you do enter a required date, please ensure it aligns with the shipping option you’ve selected at checkout and consider whether priority processing is necessary. Unnecessarily early dates can cause delays for other customers and add to our admin time, so please only provide a date here if it’s genuinely needed.

NOTES FOR YOUR ORDER
You can write the details for your sign here or email us separately afterwards. Don’t worry, nothing can go to print without your approval.

QUANTITY
The more signs you order, the cheaper each one becomes, even if they’re different designs. For example, you can order a Welcome Sign and Directional Signs each with their own unique wording. This does not apply to more complex items like timelines and table plans, which require extra editing time. For those, please see our separate listings.

PRINTING ON THE BACK
While double-sided printing is available, it’s not an option for this listing. However, if you'd like a Welcome Sign printed on the back of a table plan, timeline, or order of events, please use the corresponding listing for those items and select the option for printing on the back to add your welcome sign.

PROCESSING
Please allow at least 2–3 weeks for amendments, proofs, printing, and delivery. For faster turnaround, you can select the Priority Processing option at checkout. Standard signs without drill holes still require a minimum of 3–4 working days for processing and dispatch.

It’s important to plan ahead, as things can occasionally go wrong during delivery. While we do our best to ensure smooth shipping, courier issues like damage, loss, incorrect delivery or delivery attempts without actual delivery do sometimes occur. If an issue arises close to your event, we may not be able to send a replacement in time. This is why we highly recommend not leaving things to the last minute and allowing at least two full additional working days for any replacements, should the unexpected occur.

Please provide all the text exactly as you'd like it to appear on your sign, as we copy and paste. We’ll send electronic proofs for you to review and make any changes before printing. There are no limits to the number of changes you can request within reason.

These signs are easily adaptable for any occasion, from weddings to birthdays, christenings, and sporting events. Whether you're going for a vintage, modern, floral, or bold style, we have the perfect design for you.

Select the type of sign you would like by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. Either include the information for them with the order or email it to us afterwards at your convenience. 

Each of your signs can be different. Just tell us what you’d like each one to say.

If you are providing your own print-ready design, please provide a high-resolution PDF in CMYK colour. Remember to include 2mm of **bleed. 

Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied usually within 2 – 3 working days, slightly longer during busy periods. The proofs will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us within 3 working days, please get in touch as we always email customers. 

We normally print an order within 5 – 6 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 10 days plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quickly then please select *Priority Processing during checkout. Your order will still be dispatched using your chosen shipping option so be sure to also select a fast shipping method. 

*Please note that even with Priority orders these signs can take a minimum of 4 working days to dispatch, longer if you’ve selected arch or drill holes. Please contact us in advance if you are unsure of your timescale.

**Bleed Explained: If your design extends to the edge of the sign (edge-to-edge printing), you need to include an extra 2mm of design around all edges in your PDF. This is known as the bleed and will be trimmed off during production, ensuring that your design reaches the edge of the board. Please note, adding a white border does not count as bleed. The bleed must be part of the actual design. If you're unsure, feel free to ask for guidance.

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
