After all the organising and work to make sure your special day is one to remember, it’s time to start thinking about thanking all your guests for their generosity. Why not send them a thank you card to tell them how much you appreciated them taking the time to come and share your day with you or to thank them for their gift? Not only is it a nice gesture, but etiquette dictates that it’s the thing to do.
We customise our Thank You cards for you for the perfect finish. Go for a completely different design, or have them match previous stationery. We’re always open to suggestions on design and layout. Optional personalised stickers give the envelopes another personal touch. We are careful to select only the best quality card so that we can create something for you and your guests to hold and cherish forever.
You can buy our Thank You cards on our website, and once you have approved the proofs we will prepare for you, they will be printed and dispatched within a few working days.
We are often asked if we can change something on the card, and the answer is a resounding YES! The images are examples but don’t let this stop you changing things around. We fully customise everything, including the design, colours, text, and layout. Please just tell us when you are placing your order. All our stationery is available in ANY of our designs, even if you don’t see it listed in one of the categories. It’s all fully customisable!
Honestly? Yes! Although it’s not required, it’s almost rude not to, even in this day and age. People go to a lot of trouble and expense to attend a wedding and it’s polite to thank them.
About 2 – 3 weeks after the wedding as a general rule, although it’s never too early. If you’re lucky enough to be heading off on honeymoon for a longer period of time, consider having them pre-printed in advance so that you can add a hand note and get them sent out as soon as you return. Up to 3 months after the wedding is still perfectly acceptable.
It’s always good to thank a person for the time and expense of coming to your wedding. Don’t underestimate how difficult it can be to arrange time off work, organise a baby or pet sitter, or travel to the venue. Not to mention the cost of travel and accommodation. It’s also important to express your gratitude for any personal gifts too.
It’s entirely up to you! A small hand-written note, a photo, a printed card, the options are wide and varied. It’s quite common to opt for a pre-printed card, either with or without a photo from the day, that has a section for you to add a personal note. This save you repeating the same information over and over but still allows you to personalised each one.
Once you’ve chosen the type of thank you card you’d like (flat/folded/photo etc), click on the design you’d like, or the one that is closest to what you want. Remember, they are all fully customisable. So if you cannot see the design you’d like, choose any and then write a note to specify the design.
Select the appropriate options from the drop-down menus and add them to your basket. You can opt for things like portrait or landscape orientation, choose an envelope colour, and even add envelope liners and personalised stickers. Please click on the Information icons for an explanation of the options available or read full details on the tabs. Either include the information for your cards in the text box provided with the order or email it to us afterwards at your convenience. If including a photograph, please email it to us separately.
Once we receive your order, a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied, usually within 2 – 3 working days. We will email the proofs to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know, and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If, after placing an order, you haven’t heard from us within 3 working days, please get in touch. We always acknowledge an order so if you’ve not received an email, there is a chance it went astray.
We typically print a Thank You card order within 3 – 5 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 7-10 days plus delivery time, depending on the product and whether or not amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quicker, please select “Priority Processing” during checkout and remember to choose a fast shipping method as well.
