Our Pocketfold invitations are designed to make a lasting impression. Printed on your choice of smooth white, cream, ivory, or our signature Premium Cream Card, they’re available with a coordinating tag and twine wrap, a matching sleeve and sticker, or discreet button magnets if you prefer a cleaner finish. 

Each invitation is fully personalised to suit your day. You can keep things simple with just the main invite card, or build a full set with optional RSVP, Gift, Menu, Map, and Information cards. Matching envelope liners and stickers, and complimentary wax seals are also available for that extra touch of detail.

We can coordinate your full stationery suite to match your chosen design, including orders of service, table plans, signage and more.

You can choose how many insert cards you’d like in your set. Our most popular option is the main invitation plus three cards, but you can include up to four additional inserts in the pocket. Need more than that? Just get in touch and we’ll advise on the best layout. Read on for full details.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES?
Yes, absolutely! We’re asked this all the time — and the answer is always yes. We fully customise everything, so you're welcome to change the wording, font, or layout to suit your needs. The photos shown are just examples. If you’re using these for a different event, that’s no problem either.
Want to tweak the colour or adjust the design? Just leave us a note when placing your order. If you’ve seen a different design elsewhere on our website that you’d prefer in this format, let us know and we’ll create a pocketfold version to match.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS EXPLAINED
POCKETFOLD COLOUR: Kraft brown pocketfolds are made from 280gsm recycled card and have a darker tone on the outside with a slightly paler inner finish. Shade variation is normal due to the recycled nature.
We also offer a wide range of other colours, typically between 270–300gsm, all with a consistent colour on both sides. All GF Smith Colorplan colours are available, along with many others including pearlescent varieties. While we don’t keep every colour in stock, we can usually source them on request. Just let us know what you’re after.

SIZE
Our standard pocketfold sizes are 5x7" and A5. These measurements refer to the outer pocketfold itself. Insert cards are trimmed slightly smaller to fit neatly inside. We also offer a Mini A6 version on request.

CARD COLOUR:  Your insert cards can be printed on smooth white or ivory 330gsm card, smooth warm white 340gsm, or our thicker, lightly textured Premium Cream 350gsm card. The premium card has a luxurious weight and finish.
Please note that some card types may be discontinued without notice due to supplier issues. If this affects your order, we’ll let you know and offer suitable alternatives.

DAY OR EVENING: Each variation, such as different wording, language, or timings for day and evening guests, must be ordered separately and will need to meet the minimum order quantity.

ORDER TYPE
INVITE ONLY: Just the invitation card on its own, without any additional cards. Choose to have it loose to tuck into the pocket or glued in place as shown in the images.

INVITE + 1 CARD: The invitation card plus one additional card of your choice (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc). 

INVITE +2 CARDS: The invitation card plus two additional cards of your choice, in any 2 of the 3 sizes, (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc). 

INVITE +3 CARDS: The invitation card plus three additional cards of your choice (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc). 

INVITE +4 CARDS: If you’d like to add a 4th card to the pocket, you can select to have the invitation card plus four additional cards of your choice. 

The additional cards come in 4 sizes: A, B, C, or D. Please see Sizing tab for details. You can specify your preferred sizes or let us choose based on your text/layout. 

All of the above are fully customised, and you'll receive a digital proof for approval before anything is printed. 

PERSONALISED GUEST NAMES
Save time and ensure a polished look by having your guests’ names printed directly onto the invitation cards. See the Order Process section for more details on how to provide your list.

POCKETFOLD FLAT OR GLUED
You can choose to receive your pocketfolds flat (for self-assembly) or pre-assembled by us. If assembling yourself, we recommend using strong glue or double-sided tape. All you need is a little time and patience!

INVITE GLUED IN PLACE
Photos show the invitation card glued onto the pocketfold. You can opt to have us do this for you or leave them loose to tuck into the pocket or glue them yourself.

BUTTON MAGNETS
Our discreet round button magnets make it easy to open and close your pocketfolds. Each pair comes with adhesive stickers for easy application. Because the magnets need to be lined up precisely once all the inserts are in place, we supply them loose in pairs for you to attach yourself. Simply peel off the backing and press them into position as you fold and close each invite.

SLEEVE/TAG
You can choose to finish your pocketfold with a tag and twine, or a personalised sleeve. Sleeves come with a blank sticker (to secure the ends at the back), or you can upgrade to a matching round sticker in matt white, gloss white, or transparent. If no preference is specified, we’ll use matt white (or transparent for vellum sleeves).

SLEEVE COLOUR
Sleeves are available in white, Premium Cream, or vellum. Sadly, ivory paper has been discontinued and is no longer available.

PRINTING ON BACK OF CARDS
Need extra space for details? We can print on the reverse side of any card. RSVP cards can also be printed as postcard-style replies or paired with an RSVP envelope (see below). If using RSVP envelopes, we recommend the smaller sizes (C or D).

ALTERNATIVE EMAIL ADDRESSES
If you plan to email us from a different address than the one used on your order (e.g. a work email), please let us know so we can match it to your order quickly and easily.

FULLY ASSEMBLED INVITE PACKS
If you'd like us to do the assembly for you, we can glue the cards in place, tuck all the inserts into the pocket, and attach the magnets. This is available on request for a surcharge, so please email us if you'd like to add this option.

You’ll still need to select the correct glued and pocket options when placing your order, as we can only fully assemble once those are in place. Your invitation sets will arrive assembled and closed, ready for you to place into the outer envelopes. Please double-check all sets before posting, including guest names and day or evening details.

ENVELOPE OPTIONS
ENVELOPE COLOUR:  Kraft brown is included as standard. Other colours are available for a small additional cost, just click your choice. We’re proud to offer high-quality envelopes, but if you’re after a colour not listed, feel free to ask.

ADDRESSED INVITATION ENVELOPES:  To keep things neat and save you time, we can print your guests’ names and addresses directly onto the invitation envelopes. We’ll need a spreadsheet with one envelope per row and each line of the address in a separate column. Please ask us if you’d like full instructions or a blank template to fill in.

Please note that if you choose dark-coloured envelopes such as Navy, Black, or Forest Green, we are unable to print on them as the text would not show clearly. We are also unable to print onto Premium Peel & Seal envelopes.

ENVELOPE LINER: Add a finishing touch with a matching envelope liner. We’ll design one to complement your invitations, or you can request a different design. Liners can be supplied loose or glued in place. These are printed on white paper unless you're ordering Premium invitations, in which case we’ll use Premium Cream liners unless otherwise specified.
(Not compatible with peel & seal envelopes.)

WAX SEALS
We offer a selection of standard wax seals or can create a custom one using your own stamp (extra charge applies).

WAX COLOUR
A few popular wax colours are listed, but we have more available. Just drop us an email if you’re after something specific.

ADD MATCHING STICKER: Add a matching sticker to the envelope for a sneak peek of what’s inside. Choose from matt heart stickers or round ones in matt, gloss, or transparent finishes. You choose what goes on the sticker.

Use this section to leave any notes about your order (optional). If it's easier, you're welcome to email us your details instead. Any attachments must be sent by email as our website doesn’t support uploads.

RSVP ENVELOPES
If you'd prefer guests to return an RSVP envelope, use Card C (3-card sets) or Card D (4-card sets) as your RSVP insert. We offer two RSVP envelope options (available separately):
•    Small square RSVP envelopes (not personalisable, but a great fit)
•    C6 RSVP envelopes (can be personalised, but slightly larger with a small side gap)
Please note that the small square RSVP envelopes do not fit inside the pocketfold pocket.

Please note that all recycled Kraft brown items can have shade variations as it is a natural product.

‘Create’ your invitation pack by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. You can include the information for your cards with the order or email it to us afterwards, whichever is easier. If you have a preference for the sizes of your additional cards (Large A, Medium B, Small C, Smallest D), please let us know, or we can suggest the best layout for you.

Add the quantity you need to your cart. You don’t have to enter all the details during checkout — you’re welcome to email them to us afterwards. Then proceed to checkout to place your order.

GUEST NAMES
If you'd like guest names printed on your invitations, we must be able to copy and paste the list exactly as provided. Each invitation name should be typed on a separate line, exactly as you’d like it to appear, and without any numbers, bullet points or symbols. Please ask us for instructions if you're unsure how to format your list.

Once we receive your order, a member of our design team will create your digital proofs using the information you've supplied, usually within 2 to 3 working days. Proofs are emailed to you for approval. Unlike many companies, we don’t limit the number of changes you can make (within reason). Nothing goes to print until you're completely happy and have confirmed approval.
If you haven’t heard from us within 3 full working days after placing your order, please get in touch. We always email personally to acknowledge every order.

Printing usually takes up to 6 working days from the time your proofs are approved. The full process typically takes around 10 days, plus delivery time, depending on the product and whether any amendments are made. Large orders or glued pocketfolds may take slightly longer during busy periods.  If you need your order quickly, please select ‘Priority Processing’ during checkout and be sure to also select the courier shipping option or the fastest option available for your postcode.

SHIPPING
After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch most orders within 3 - 6 working days, depending on the product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Large orders with assembling, gluing or foiling may take a few days longer. Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage (no rush) – Royal Mail quote 3-5 working days however in our experience this often takes longer and can take up to 3 weeks. Please do not select this option if you need to receive your order within 3 weeks of approval for print. It really does mean ‘no rush’!

Royal Mail 1st Class postage (not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, in our experience this often takes considerably longer and can take up to 10 days. Please do not select this option if you must receive your order within 10 days of approval for print. 

Tracked 24 (tracked but not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, this is not guaranteed and has been known to take a full 10 days. If it’s crucial you receive your order within 10 days of sending your order to print, this is not the option for you.

*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands. 

NOTE: There are Delivery Speed Exclusions for many postcodes. These can be viewed on royalmail.com/termschanges under Changes from 11 August 2025. They are subject to change by Royal Mail without notice.

If you require any other shipping such as Guaranteed Next Day or Saturday Delivery, please contact us separately for a quote. Most shipping options can be upgraded for a surcharge.

Shipping Abroad
Sadly, Brexit has made it impossible for us to ship to Europe. There are companies available that will handle this for you and provide a UK shipping address for you. Companies such as https://forwardvia.com/ and https://www.shopandship.com/ are just 2 examples. The best option is usually to have your order shipped to friends or family in the UK who can then forward things on for you.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
If you choose to add priority processing to your order, it will flag up for us and will then jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible once you’ve approved your proofs. 
Please contact us for availability before placing your order if you need your order within just a few days. Large format items (Foamex/2mm Card) still need a minimum of 4 days to be processed, printed, and shipped. Traditional foil pressing also takes a few days because a plate has to first be manufactured before we can even begin pressing.

Digital Foiling orders (not to be confused with our traditional foil pressing) can be sped up as all foiling is done in house. 

Please note that your order will still be dispatched using whichever shipping method you choose during checkout so if you select 2nd class postage, the order will simply slow down once we’ve dispatched it. We recommend selecting our Next Day delivery service (UK mainland only. Weekends & holidays excluded).
