Order a sample of our beautiful envelope liners fitted into one of our Kraft brown envelopes! Printed onto white paper, they can be tucked into the envelope and fixed in place for an additional bit of charm and delight. Give them that personal touch to really make your stationery pop and take your post from standard to statement with the lift of a flap! Samples are a great way to try out different styles and designs so that you find your perfect match. Read on to find out more about the samples available.

About this product

It can be difficult to choose your stationery with so many different options available. Ordering a sample is a great way to show you the quality, colours and style so that you can make up your mind. We offer 2 different types of sample: a simple Generic Sample or a fully personalised Electronic Sample. Available in 3 sizes, these liners add a personalised touch to your envelopes ready to be revealed when opened. Choose to personalise them with a message or a design to match your stationery. Opt to have envelopes pre-addressed with a return address for RSVP envelopes or with your guests’ addresses for invitations/save the dates or leave them blank. Mini C7 envelopes cannot be personalised with addresses. 

Product Information

Generic Sample: Choose any existing design from our website and we will print it onto your selected liner colour and envelope. This option is ideal if you would like to see the print quality, colours and overall style in person before placing a full order. Generic samples are not personalised with your wording and are only available for designs that already exist on our website. If the collection you’re interested in does not currently show an envelope design, you can still select it – just include a note with your order and we will create the sample using that design.

Personalised Sample – My Own Design: If you have your own artwork or would like to see your chosen design with your own details included, you’ll need to select this option. Once your order has been placed, simply email us your artwork and we will print it onto an envelope liner so you can see exactly how it will look in person. This is the best way to check the print quality, colours and layout before placing a full order.

Proofs: Proofs are only provided with personalised samples. Please note that all proofs are shown on a white background irrespective of your chosen liner colour. Always read any annotations carefully when reviewing proofs.

Sizing

Our envelope liners are made to fit the Kraft brown envelopes we supply with our stationery. 
C5 envelope fits an A5 card (21cm x 14.8cm)
C6 envelope fits an A6 card (approx. 16.2cm x 11.4cm)
C7 envelope fits an A7 card (approx. 11.2cm x 8.3cm)

Medium Stickers: 37mm Dia (for C5 envelopes)
Mini Stickers: 30mm Dia (for C6 & C7 envelopes)

To help you choose the right size:
A5 is our standard/large invitation size
A6 is our Mini Invitation size, a large Save the Date or additional cards to go with a large A5 invite
A7 is our Mini Save the Date size or mini additional cards to go with a mini invitation.

Order Process

Choose the type of sample you would like to receive. For a Generic Sample, simply choose a design from our website and type it in the box. If you would like your own design printed, please select a Personalised Sample and email your artwork to us once your order has been placed.

Once we receive your order, Generic Samples are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. Personalised Samples take a little longer as they are created to your specification, but we will be in touch promptly if we require any further details.

If you haven’t heard from us within 3 working days of placing your order, please get in touch so we can make sure everything is on track.

Shipping

SHIPPING
After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch most orders within 3 - 6 working days, depending on the product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Large orders with assembling, gluing or foiling may take a few days longer. Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage (no rush) – Royal Mail quote 3-5 working days however in our experience this often takes longer and can take up to 3 weeks. Please do not select this option if you need to receive your order within 3 weeks of approval for print. It really does mean ‘no rush’!

Royal Mail 1st Class postage (not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, in our experience this often takes considerably longer and can take up to 10 days. Please do not select this option if you must receive your order within 10 days of approval for print. 

Tracked 24 (tracked but not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, this is not guaranteed and has been known to take a full 10 days. If it’s crucial you receive your order within 10 days of sending your order to print, this is not the option for you.

*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands. 

NOTE: There are Delivery Speed Exclusions for many postcodes. These can be viewed on royalmail.com/termschanges under Changes from 11 August 2025. They are subject to change by Royal Mail without notice.

If you require any other shipping such as Guaranteed Next Day or Saturday Delivery, please contact us separately for a quote. Most shipping options can be upgraded for a surcharge.

Shipping Abroad
Sadly, Brexit has made it impossible for us to ship to Europe. There are companies available that will handle this for you and provide a UK shipping address for you. Companies such as https://forwardvia.com/ and https://www.shopandship.com/ are just 2 examples. The best option is usually to have your order shipped to friends or family in the UK who can then forward things on for you.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
If you choose to add priority processing to your order, it will flag up for us and will then jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible once you’ve approved your proofs. 
Please contact us for availability before placing your order if you need your order within just a few days. Large format items (Foamex/2mm Card) still need a minimum of 4 days to be processed, printed, and shipped. Traditional foil pressing also takes a few days because a plate has to first be manufactured before we can even begin pressing.

Digital Foiling orders (not to be confused with our traditional foil pressing) can be sped up as all foiling is done in house. 

Please note that your order will still be dispatched using whichever shipping method you choose during checkout so if you select 2nd class postage, the order will simply slow down once we’ve dispatched it. We recommend selecting our Next Day delivery service (UK mainland only. Weekends & holidays excluded).
