Make sure your big day runs smoothly by organising your reception tables with our unique wedding place cards. To ensure a perfect match with the rest of your stationery, you can also customise and tweak any element of our bespoke name cards, from the font to the design.
Feeling creative? Choose to have your wedding place cards blank so you can handwrite your loved one's names yourself or let us do the hard work and type them on your behalf using our wide range of fonts. We print all of our place cards for weddings on top-quality, super-sturdy card (we don't do flimsy!) and send them pre-creased to make folding easy.
CARD COLOUR: Choose from a smooth white or ivory 330gsm card or our lightly textured Premium Cream card. The premium card is a noticeably thicker 350gsm and adds a luxurious look and feel to your invitations.
PERSONALISED GUEST NAMES: If you’d like each card to be individually personalised for each guest, this is the option for you. We will require a list of the guest names that we can copy and paste. Please either email us for a template, click on the link above right to download a template, or alternatively, list the names in a simple list with each name typed exactly as you’d like it printed. Please don’t precede the names with numbers, dashes, or symbols as these will print along with the names. You can use an email, spreadsheet, or Word document to send them.
EVENT DATE: Please tell us the actual event date! You can tell us when you’d like to receive them by below. We need this date to be sure that the correct shipping has been selected for the timeframe.
WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER BY? Please tell us when you would like to receive these by. We need this date so that we can keep an eye on dispatch times. Please remember to take processing and shipping times into consideration when selecting your postage option during checkout. Please allow a minimum of 2 1/2 weeks for 2nd class delivery AFTER your order has been sent to print.
TITLES: If you’d like to add titles to one or more of the cards (e.g. Mother of the Bride), please use a spreadsheet to send the details as the titles must be in a separate column to the names. All names must be in column 1 and the corresponding titles must be in column 2 (leave this column blank for those without titles). If you are unable to use a spreadsheet, please use a comma delimited format and write the name, followed by a comma, followed by the title (with no space between). E.g.:
The font used will be as per the listing photographs. We copy all your text as plain text no matter what font you used to send the names. If you’d like to change the font(s), please add a note to the order.
PRINTING ON BACK OF CARDS: Perhaps you’d like the event date or more of the pretty design on the back of the fold. Just add a note to the order.
PRINTING INSIDE THE FOLD: If you need any text to be printed on the inside of the folded cards, please contact us for details as additional charges will apply.
FLAT PLACE CARDS FOR HOLDERS: If you’d prefer your cards to be flat rather than folded, please add a note to the order. If you need extra space left at the bottom so that they can be put into stands, let us know.
MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY: We have removed the minimum order quantity requirement on this listing as we get so many requests for reprints. Cheaper prices start from a quantity of 20 so if you need 6 or more, you may prefer to just purchase 20.
SPECIAL CHARACTERS: Please note that some special characters (e.g. ö or é) may not print correctly with certain fonts. Please add a note to the order to let us know that there are special characters, and we will let you know if there is an issue with any of them.
PROOFS: We do not prepare proofs of place cards unless the design is unusual, and you specifically request one. Orders will go straight to print so if your design differs from that pictured, please add a message to the order as we will not check previous orders without being asked.
SAMPLE: If you would like a sample, either blank or with a random name, please click on the Order Sample button near the top right of the page.

HOW TO SEND THE NAMES
We will require a list of the guest names that we can copy and paste. If you would like a spreadsheet template, you can either email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or click on the link near the top right of the listing to download a template. To send the names another way, please list them in a simple list with each name typed exactly as you’d like it printed. Please don’t precede the names with numbers, dashes, bullet points, spaces, indents, or any other symbols as these will print along with the names. You can write the names in the notes section or use an email, spreadsheet, or Word document to send them. Please note that if any of the names have titles, we will still need them in a spreadsheet as the names and titles need to be in separate columns.
Please remember to tell us if any of the names have special characters as these do not always translate into the fonts used.
Once we receive your order a member of our design team will check to ensure we can copy and paste the names. The order will then go straight to print unless you have included a message requesting otherwise.
We normally print place cards within 3 – 5 working days. The whole process normally takes around a week plus delivery time depending on the product and whether edits or proofs have been requested. If you need your order quickly then please select Priority Processing when checking out.
After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.
Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded).
*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.
If you require any other shipping such as Express or shipping abroad then please contact us separately for a quote.
FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.

Please note that your order will still be dispatched using whichever shipping method you choose during checkout. We recommend selecting our Next Day delivery service (UK mainland only. Weekends & holidays excluded).
