Vows are incredibly personal, so it’s lovely to have a printed copy to hold on the day and treasure as a lasting memento afterwards.

Each set is personalised with your wording and can be created to suit your ceremony style, whether as individual vow cards or matching his/her sets. Choose from flat cards or folded booklets, with additional options to suit your style. If you’d like the design adapted to coordinate with the rest of your stationery, just let us know.

As with all our stationery, these are fully customised for you and can easily be adapted for other occasions such as birthdays, award ceremonies, or any other event where a speech might be required.

Every detail can be personalised to suit your needs. You’re welcome to change the wording style, adjust the layout, or even provide your own artwork. We can also adapt these for other occasions such as anniversaries, christenings, or funerals – just add a note when placing your order.

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
Card Colour
Choose from Smooth White or Ivory 330gsm, Warm White 340gsm, or our Premium Cream 350gsm card. We can also supply a wide range of other specialist colours (such as GF Smith) if you’d like something different. For mounted cards, you may select from a range of coloured backing options.

Flat/Folded
Choose between flat cards or folded booklets. If you select Flat, you’ll also have the option to add a coloured backing mount for extra depth and impact.

Sizing
Choose between 5x7” or A5 (finished size when folded). Full measurements are listed in the Sizing tab.

Foiling
Add a touch of shine with digital foiling on one side of your cards (includes both the front and back cover of folded cards). Choose from gold, silver, rose gold, or copper foil to complement your design.

Printing on the Back
You can choose to leave the reverse side of your flat cards blank to handwrite your own message, or supply text for us to print instead. Printing on the inside of folded cards is included in the price.

Insert
For folded cards, you can include an insert in Smooth White or Premium Cream. Leave it blank for your own handwriting or provide text for us to print.

Actual Event Date
Please provide the actual date of your event (not the date you’d like to receive your order). This helps us track your order and check you’ve selected the correct shipping option.

When Do You Need to Receive Your Order By?
Only complete this field if you genuinely need your order by a specific date. If you don’t have a strict deadline, please leave it blank. Adding unnecessary dates may cause delays, as we have to double check processing and shipping requirements. All orders are already processed as quickly as possible, so there’s no need to request ASAP.

If you need your order in less than 3 weeks from approval, please select a faster postage option. We cannot take responsibility for Royal Mail delays. Although they quote up to 5 working days for standard delivery, in reality it can sometimes take 2–3 weeks to arrive, so please factor this in when choosing your shipping method.

Your Wording
Keep My Vows Secret
If you are ordering for a couple, you can keep each person’s wording secret while still placing one order. Tick “Keep vows secret” and include both names and email addresses.

Please email each set of wording in a separate email with the subject line SECRET VOWS followed by the name, for example SECRET VOWS Elizabeth or SECRET VOWS Patrick. This is important as we often crossmatch email addresses for orders. We will also package each set separately, so no details are shared by accident.

Any Notes/Wording?
This is where you can add a note for your order if you wish. Or you can email your wording to us afterwards at contact@vintageprints.co.uk. 

Don’t worry — nothing will ever go to print until you’ve seen and approved your proofs.

Placing Your Order
Select your options from the drop-down menus and add the quantity you need. If you’re ordering for a couple and want to keep vows private, please follow the steps in the KEEP MY VOWS SECRET section above when sending us your wording.

If you order more than one print, they don’t need to be the same — just tell us what you’d like on each one. Please email your wording once you’ve placed the order, typed exactly as you’d like it to appear (we copy and paste directly from your text).

If you already have your own design, send it as a high-quality PDF, unflattened PSD, PNG, or JPEG (set to CMYK, 2mm bleed, and no crop marks). We’ll double check it before printing to make sure it’s suitable.

Proofs
Once we receive your order, a member of our design team will create electronic proofs from the information you’ve supplied, usually within 2–3 working days. Proofs are emailed to you, and we don’t set strict limits on the number of changes you can make within reason. Nothing will ever go to print until you confirm you are happy. If you haven’t received your proofs within 3 working days, please get in touch.

It is very important that you check your proofs thoroughly before approval. Please review every detail carefully, including names, dates and spelling, as we copy text exactly as you provide it. Because our work is produced in graphics software, we do not use spell check. Always check your proofs on a computer or laptop (not a phone) and, if possible, ask someone else to review them as well. Once you approve your proofs, they are final, and we cannot be held responsible for any errors that were not corrected at the proof stage.

Production Times
We normally need 2–3 working days to create your proofs. Once you’ve approved them for print, your order is usually printed and dispatched within 3–5 working days. If you need a really fast turnaround, please select the Priority Processing option at checkout along with a faster shipping method.

Delivery Times
Delivery is separate from our production time and is entirely out of our control. Standard Royal Mail can sometimes take up to 3 weeks to arrive, even though their quoted timescale is 5 working days. Next Day Courier is delivered the following day in mainland UK (longer for Highlands and Islands). The only fully guaranteed option is Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, which isn’t currently listed at checkout. If you would like to upgrade to this service, please email us once you’ve placed your order.
