Product Information

We can produce these in any of our designs to match your other stationery. With your choice of gold, silver or rose gold foiling printed onto your choice of quality white or cream card. Irresistibly eye catching! Even the simplest design will dazzle with this extra-special gilded finish. Choose which bits of your card(s) are foiled. Go for a subtle touch or all-out bling! We can alter almost any aspect of the cards so if you would like something altered please don’t hesitate to ask. We can also create new designs if you have something specific in mind. Please just get in touch. Prefer a different font or want the design tweaked? Please add a note to your order.

The one question everybody asks us is “Can we change x, y or z?”. The answer is YES! We fully customise everything so if you’d like to have the font, colour or design tweaked then just tell us when placing your order.

*Please note that names and menu options must be in a table or spreadsheet (Word or Excel) or in a comma delimited format. The information for each card must be on one line with each line of text for that card in a separate column. For example: Column A, Line 1 = Name1; Column B, Line 1 = Starter1, Column C, Line 1 = Main1; Column D, Line 1 = Dessert1. Then the next card will continue on Column A, Line 2 and so on. 

We do not correct spelling errors or punctuation. We copy and paste text exactly as you have written it so please double check everything before you send it to us.

If you do not have access to either MS Word or MS Excel then please follow instructions on this pdf on how to send the information in a comma delimited format.

They are creased for folding and will arrive flat in stacks ready for you to fold. 

Card used for foiling has changed over the past year as manufacturers worldwide have struggled with supply. All card used for foiling must be exceptionally smooth and the slightest change in the manufacturing process means some card types are no longer suitable for foiling. We have updated our stock for 2022 to only include the best card types available:
White Satimat – A smooth 350gsm card in a warm white colour. It may differ slightly in shade from previous samples. Please note that it does not match stationery printed on our 330gsm white card.
Cream Conqueror – A smooth 320gsm card in a warm pale cream colour.

Manufacturers make minor changes to their card stock all the time without prior notice so there can be slight shade variations from samples as they may have been printed on older stock.

We offer Gold, Rose Gold and Silver foiling. We have swatches of all 3 colours available so if you’d like to see a sample, please order a Generic Sample of any other foiling product, such as Foil Save the Dates. We do not yet have samples of all foiling products available. Please add a note to your sample order if you’d like us to include additional foil colour swatches.

EVENT DATE – This is important for us so that we can keep an eye on dispatch times. Please put the date you need to actually have the cards delivered by.

You will receive a digital proof of one card so that you can check that you are completely happy with the design and can make any amendments before we send them to print using the spreadsheet you provide. Please ensure you check proofs carefully to ensure nothing has been missed, even if it was requested in an earlier email. All proofs are FINAL! We always recommend asking family or friends to check them too.

Please be aware that foil writing is always harder to read due to its shine. We are happy to put any information you like on the cards but do not take responsibility for them being hard to read. The more text that is added, the smaller the text. Please try to keep menu options short. Remember, these serve as a reminder to your guests of what they ordered, not as full menus. 

In order to keep costs down we have a minimum order quantity of 30. We always recommend ordering a few extra blanks for those late additions to the guest list as we cannot produce fewer than 30 reprints. 

PRINTING ON THE BACK - You can opt to have printing on the back of the cards. This can be with or without foiling. If you need to have printing on the inside fold, please get in touch for a quote.

Order Process

Once we receive your order a member of our design team will check that we are able to process the information sent. Remember that each menu item must be nor more than 70 characters long including spaces! This can vary slightly with different fonts so please double check with us if you are unsure. If you would like to have your cards printed exactly as shown (font, layout, foiling etc) using the information on your spreadsheet and would prefer to save time and have them sent straight to print, please specifically write this on the order. Otherwise we will aim to draw up an electronic proof within 2 – 3 working days. The proof will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print for dispatch within 15 working days.

Please note that once we send foiling orders to print, the order cannot be changed! By sending them to print you confirm that all the details are correct on the proofs and/or on the spreadsheet you provided. We do not accept any responsibility for errors that are either shown on the proofs or in the spreadsheet provided. If you are unsure about any detail at all then please ask before approving them. We recommend viewing them on a large screen and getting someone else to proofread them too!

We normally print an order within 10 working days after you have approved any proofs but please allow up to 15 full working days. The whole process normally takes around 2 – 3 weeks plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quickly then please check the ‘Priority Processing’ box during checkout and be sure to also select a faster shipping method. Please note that with priority processing we do proofs and send your order to print as a priority however, foiling still takes a minimum of 5 – 7 full working days to complete! We will also prioritise packing and dispatch once the foiling is complete.



After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.
If you require any other shipping such as Express or shipping abroad then please contact us separately for a quote.

*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
