Our DIY sleeves, also known as belly bands, are designed to add a polished finishing touch to your invitations and on the day stationery.

You can include any wording or design, whether you are continuing a theme from your invitations or creating something completely unique. Each sleeve is fully customised to your requirements, with the option for us to adjust or refine your design where needed.

Ideal for DIY invitation projects, these sleeves can be used to neatly wrap invitations, hold together multiple inserts, or add a personalised detail to place settings such as menus or napkins.

These sleeves are supplied as a standalone product, perfect for DIY projects or as an addition to an existing invitation set.

Sleeves are available on the following paper types:

Sleeve Colour
Warm White 150gsm
A soft warm white tone designed to complement our warm white 340gsm cardstock. A lovely alternative to a brighter white.

Smooth White 160gsm
A classic smooth bright white paper, designed to match our 330gsm white card range.

Premium Cream 130gsm
A lightly textured, pale creamy tone to complement our Premium Cream 350gsm cardstock.

Vellum 140gsm
A translucent paper that softly overlays your invitation, allowing colours and designs beneath to show through.

Coloured Papers 135gsm
We also offer a range of coloured papers. Please get in touch if you are looking for a specific shade. Please note we are unable to print onto dark colours.

Manufacturers can make minor changes to their cardstock over time, which may result in slight shade variations. As there are many different tones of white and cream, we always recommend ordering a sample first to ensure you are happy with your chosen colour.

Choosing Your Design
You can choose absolutely any design for your sleeves.

Browse our website to find a design you love and we can adapt it to fit your chosen sleeve size. We can also adjust colours, wording, and layout to ensure it works perfectly with your stationery.

If you already have your own design, you are very welcome to send it to us. We can work with PDF, JPEG, or PNG files, as well as Canva designs. Simply share a link or send your files over and we will check everything and let you know if any adjustments are needed before creating your proof.

You can also provide elements such as a logo or wording for us to incorporate into a design.

If you have a specific idea in mind but are not sure how to bring it together, feel free to send us inspiration images and we will be happy to advise.

Sending Your Files
If you are using Canva, the easiest option is to share a link to your design.

For Illustrator or Photoshop files, you are welcome to send these directly. For other file types, please ensure they are high resolution and set up in CMYK colour where possible.

Vector files are always preferred, as they allow for the best print quality.

Variations
All sleeves within each variation will be identical. If you select guest names, only the names will change. All other wording and design details will remain the same.

If you need more than one design or wording variation, these must be ordered separately. The minimum order quantity of 10 applies to each variation. 

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
Sleeve Size: 
Mini, suitable for A6 invitations.
Standard, suitable for 5 x 7 inch invitations, including our standard invitations and pocketfold invitations.
Large, suitable for A5 invitations, including our standard invitations and pocketfold invitations.

Guest Names 
Add guest name, or guest names, to each sleeve. This is a lovely option for table settings, for example wrapped around a menu on each guest’s place setting.

Please send your list of names by email, Word document, or Excel spreadsheet. Names should be typed in one simple list, with no numbers, symbols, or blank lines in between. Please do not send photographs of lists, as we need to be able to copy and paste the text exactly.

Sleeve Stickers
Stickers are supplied to secure the ends of the sleeve once wrapped around your invitations.

None, choose this option if you do not need stickers.
Blank Sticker, available in matt white, gloss white, or transparent.
Matching Sticker, if you would like your stickers printed with matching text or design, we can do this for you.

Your Text
Use this section to provide any wording or notes for your order. Please note that files cannot be uploaded or attached here. Any documents, images, or artwork will need to be emailed to us after placing your order.

If you prefer, you are very welcome to email all of your information to us at contact@vintageprints.co.uk once your order has been placed.

Quantity
There is a minimum order quantity of 10 per design or variation.

Small Sleeve, suitable for A6 invitations, approximately 264 x 50mm
Stickers for Small Sleeves are Small, 30mm diameter

Standard Sleeve, suitable for 5x7” invitations, approximately 300 x 57mm
Stickers for Standard Sleeves are Medium, 37mm diameter

Large Sleeve, suitable for A5 invitations, approximately 320 x 64mm
Stickers for Large Sleeves are Medium, 37mm diameter

Select your options and quantity from the drop-down menus to see your price update. Once you are happy with your selections, add the item to your basket to place your order.

Add any wording or notes to the ‘Your Text’ box or email your information to us after placing your order. Please note that any files, images, or artwork will need to be sent by email.

Once your order has been placed, we will create a digital proof using the information you have provided, usually within 2 to 3 working days. This will be emailed to you for review.

You are welcome to request amendments to your proof until you are completely happy. Nothing is printed without your approval. If you are unsure about any detail at all, please ask before approving your proof.

If you have not received your proof within 3 working days, please check your spam folder and then get in touch with us.

Once approved, your order will be printed and dispatched within 3 to 5 working days.

Once dispatched, delivery time will depend on the shipping option selected during checkout. If you need your order sooner, you can select Priority Processing at checkout and choose a faster delivery method.
