Choose which cards you would like to include and how you would like your invitation to be finished. Each design is fully customised, with your invitation mounted neatly inside the shaped gatefold wrap. You can select your wrap card colour, along with insert cards in either classic rectangular or matching shaped styles. Optional twine can be added for a soft finishing touch. Everything is designed to feel cohesive, personal and ready to impress your guests.

There are plenty of options to choose from, so we’ve kept the process as simple as possible. Just work your way down the list and select anything you would like to include. The price will update as you go, so you can easily keep track while building your perfect invitation. You’ll find each option explained in more detail below.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES?
The answer is yes. We fully customise all of the wording, fonts, layout and colours of your invitation, so if you would like anything changed from what you see in the photos, just let us know when placing your order. Our images are simply examples and can be adapted for any event or style.

The only element that cannot be changed as standard is the shape and design of the gatefold wrap. You can choose the print colour and card colour, but the overall shape will remain as shown. If you have a specific shape in mind, please get in touch and we can look at creating something bespoke for you.

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
INVITE CARD COLOUR: 
Select the card you would like your invitation to be printed on. We currently offer Smooth White 330gsm, Smooth Ivory 330gsm, Smooth Warm White 340gsm or our Premium Cream 350gsm. The Premium Cream card is thicker with a subtle texture and a soft off white tone that adds a beautiful, elevated finish.

INVITE SIZE
Choose between 5x7” or A5. Both sizes fit perfectly into standard 5x7” or C5 envelopes.

WRAP CARD COLOUR
Choose your preferred wrap card colour from the options shown. If you are looking for something specific that is not listed, feel free to get in touch. Please note that darker card colours such as Amethyst, Claret, Navy or Black can be cut to shape but cannot be printed.

ARE THESE FOR DAY OR EVENING?
Let us know which version you would like us to create. If you need more than one variation, each one will need to be added to your basket separately so we can prepare individual proofs for you.

PERSONALISED GUEST NAMES
You can choose to have each invitation personalised with your guest names for a neat and polished finish. To do this, we will need a list of names that we can copy and paste directly. Each name should be on a separate line and written exactly as you would like it to appear.

WOULD YOU LIKE AN ADDITIONAL CARD? (RSVP, Info etc):
You can choose to include additional cards inside your invitation, perfect for RSVP details, guest information or anything else you would like to share.

Start by selecting whether you would like to add your first additional card, then choose your preferred shape and card colour. Once selected, the option to add a second card will appear, allowing you to include another if needed.

You can mix and match shapes and colours to suit your design or simply select “No thanks” if you do not require any extra cards.

PRINTING ON BACK OF ADDITIONAL CARD
If you have extra information to include, you can choose to have printing on the reverse of one of your additional cards. This works particularly well for RSVP cards, for example with menu choices on one side and RSVP details on the other.

TWINE
Add a simple twine tie to bring everything together and give your invitations a soft, finished look.

INVITE GLUED IN PLACE?
Your invitation can be supplied either loose or neatly glued inside the gatefold for you. If you select this option, we will carefully position and secure each one so they arrive ready to send.

All of the above are fully customised for you. You will receive a digital proof to check everything carefully before anything is printed, and you can make amendments until you are completely happy. We always recommend ordering a few extra invitations for any last-minute additions to your guest list. As a guide, you will usually need one invitation per couple or household rather than per person.

ALTERNATIVE EMAIL ADDRESSES YOU MIGHT USE
Please list any additional email addresses you may use to contact us about your order, so we can match everything up quickly. This is only needed if you expect to email us from a different address to the one used when placing your order.

ENVELOPE OPTIONS
ENVELOPE COLOUR:  Choose your preferred envelope colour from the options available. Kraft Brown envelopes are included as standard, with a wide range of other colours to suit your chosen style.
Please note that all recycled Kraft brown envelopes can have shade variations as it is a natural product.

ADDRESSED INVITATION ENVELOPES:  You can also opt to have your envelopes printed with guest addresses for a polished, ready to send finish. Please note that address printing is only available on lighter envelope colours and is not possible on darker shades. We will need a spreadsheet from you with the information for each envelope on a single row and each line on that envelope in a separate column. Please ask us for instructions and/or a blank template to fill in. 

ENVELOPE LINER:  Envelope liners can be added to bring an extra layer of detail when your guests open their invitation. Unless otherwise specified, we will create them to match the invitation design, but you can of course choose any other design to complement your invites. Just let us know when ordering. You can have them loose so that you glue them in yourself, or you can opt for pre-assembled where we do that for you.

ENVELOPE LINER COLOUR
We have liner paper to match the Smooth White, Smooth Warm White and Premium Cream card types. 

ADD PEEL & SEAL WAX SEALS?
Add a peel and seal wax seal for a classic finishing touch. These are easy to apply and give your envelopes a beautifully polished look.

If you are looking for a different design or specific colour, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss custom options with you.

Build your invitation pack by selecting the options from the dropdown menus. You can either include your wording when placing your order or email it to us afterwards at your convenience.

Once we receive your order, a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied, usually within 2 to 3 working days. The proofs will be emailed to you. We do not limit the number of amendments you can make to your proofs, within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us at all within 3 working days, please get in touch. Please add contact@vintageprints.co.uk
 to your safe senders list as proofs are sent using a different server and often end up in spam.

We normally print an order within 6 to 8 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process usually takes around 2 weeks plus delivery time depending on the product and how many amendments are made. If you need your order quickly, please select ‘Priority Processing’ from the shipping options during checkout and be sure to also choose the courier shipping option or the fastest option available for your postcode.
