Pocketfolds are great for those of you wishing to create and assemble your own wedding invitations. We were asked for them so many times, we decided to add them as a standalone product. Although we hold limited stock due to the vast variety available, other colours, including pearlescent varieties, are available for full orders. Please just get in touch.

Our 270gsm – 300gsm pocketfolds are of the highest quality we can find. Made from the best quality cardstock such as the gorgeous GM Smith or Keaykolour range and cut to size. Kraft Brown pocketfolds are of a 100% natural, recycled material, colours can vary from batch to batch. 

All Pocketfolds are portrait with the pocket on the right (other shapes and sizes are available if you contact us for a quote). They come flat, cut to size and pre-creased, for you to assemble yourself or you can have us do the time-consuming, mind-numbing work for you*! You can also opt to have button magnets to close them. *Please note that once glued, pocketfolds are non-refundable. The same applies to colours/sizes that we do not normally hold in stock as standard as they are cut to order. If unsure, please ask before placing your order. 

COLOURS
There is a vast range of colours available ranging from matt to gorgeous pearlescent varieties. We only show a few here as it’s impossible to stock them all, so if you cannot see what you’d like, please just email us at contact@vintageprints.co.uk. If you’re able to send us a picture of the colour you’re looking for, we’ll be happy to check what’s available. Although we do our best to photograph things so that the colour is close to the actual item, please do not rely on the pictures. Please order a sample first to check you’re happy with it. Colours vary hugely on different monitors and the lighting at the time of photographing also has an impact on the result.

Please note that we do not stock all listed colours as standard in A5 size. Pocketfolds are often cut to order so it may take a few days longer to dispatch them. Please just ask before ordering if you first wish to check what’s in stock or how long they will take. We can usually dispatch new colours within 4 – 7 working days of receiving your order. In stock items usually go out within a couple of days.
Some colours have a minimum order quantity of 50 so please just contact us in advance about availability and we’ll be able to advise you. A slightly heavier weight of 350gsm is also available for the GM Smith card colours. Please get in touch for a quote.

ENVELOPE COLOURS
We stock a range of envelopes but not all pocketfolds have matching envelopes available. Square envelopes are not available from the manufacturers in all colours either. RSVP envelopes are available separately as there is no one size for all. For example, Card size C for a 5x7 pocketfolds fits into a small square blank envelope (or C6 if you need addressed RSVP envelopes). Other cards, including those for A5 require larger envelopes. Please contact us in advance if you’re unsure what size to order.

Please note that 5x7” cards do NOT fit into a 5x7” pocketfold as they are the same size. The same applies to A5 cards which do NOT fit into A5 pocketfolds. 
When folded the portrait 5x7” pocketfolds fit neatly into a 5x7" envelope. A5 pocketfolds fit into a C5 envelope. 
We also have Mini A6 and Oversize A6 pocketfolds available. Here are some further measurements (all measurements are approximate and can vary by a millimetre or two):

5x7” POCKETFOLDS
Closed the pocketfold measures 12.7cm x 17.8 cm on the outside.
Front flap is 6.4cm to its point.
Height of the inside flap is 6.1cm rising to 9.8cm at the sides.
Envelopes are slightly larger than 5x7” (13.3cm x 18.4cm)

5x7” POCKETFOLD CARD SIZES
Standard 3 Insert Set for 5x7”
Pocketfold Card A/Invite: 116 x 165.8 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 169.8 mm)
Pocketfold Card B: 116 x 136 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 140 mm)
Pocketfold Card C: 116 x 106 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 110 mm)

Note: Pocketfolds are 5x7” when closed, cards are slightly smaller, and envelopes are slightly larger so that they all fit neatly together.

4 Insert Set for 5x7”
It is also possible to have 4 different sized inserts for 5x7” pocketfolds. The sizes for these are:

Pocketfold Card A/Invite: 116 x 165.8 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 169.8 mm)
Pocketfold Card B: 116 x 146 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 150 mm)
Pocketfold Card C: 116 x 125.6 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 129.6 mm)
Pocketfold Card D: 116 x 106 mm (+2mm bleed = 120 x 110 mm)

A5 POCKETFOLDS
Closed the pocketfold measures 14.9cm x 21 cm on the outside.
Front flap is 7cm from the fold line to its outer narrowest edge.
Height of the inside flap is 5cm rising to 10cm at the sides.
Envelopes are C5 (22.9cm x 16.2cm)

A5 POCKETFOLD CARD SIZES

Pocketfold Card A/Invite: 137 x 197 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 201 mm)
Pocketfold Card B: 137 x 160.2 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 164.2 mm)
Pocketfold Card C: 137 x 124 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 128 mm)

Note: Pocketfolds are A5 when closed, cards are slightly smaller than A5 and envelopes are C5 so that they all fit neatly together.

4 Insert Set for A5
It is also possible to have 4 different sized inserts for A5 pocketfolds. The sizes for these are:

Pocketfold Card A/Invite: 137 x 197 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 201 mm)
Pocketfold Card B: 137 x 171.8 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 175.8 mm)
Pocketfold Card C: 137 x 148.2 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 152.2 mm)
Pocketfold Card D: 137 x 124.9 mm (+2mm bleed = 141 x 128.9 mm)

Please ensure all text is well within the dimensions above as we need to be able to trim approximately 2mm (the bleed) off once the cards have been printed. This is particularly important if you have an edge-to-edge design or text too close to the edge as it can get cut off. If we are creating the design we will provide proofs to show the finished product so you will be able to check it before approving it for print. You can also specifically request proofs.

*Remember, the more cards you tuck into the pocket, the more you must shave the width of the cards down in order for them to fit comfortably.

Please first ensure you have checked the measurements. Please do not assume your cards will fit without first double checking. We ALWAYS recommend ordering a sample first. Pocketfolds are not returnable as they are mostly cut to order.

For A5 sizes we may need to first order them in which will add approximately 2 - 4 working days to your order processing time.
