Our sample Save the Dates make choosing your design so much easier. They can be fully customised for you for the perfect finish. We want you to be confident when placing a full order. Choose to have magnetic strips to ensure your Save the Date can have pride of place on a fridge where it can’t be forgotten. We can create the rest of your stationery to match your chosen design too.
Generic Sample: a ‘James & Sarah’ or other random sample with your choice of ribbon or twine. These cards have random details on them and do not include any of your own personal information. Please note that printing on the back of cards will not be included even if selected.
Personalised Sample: A printed sample on your choice of card with your personal information on it. You will receive an electronic proof and it won’t go to print without your approval. You will receive the finished product in the post.
Electronic Sample: Perhaps you’ve had a Generic Sample already and are happy with the quality but would now like to see what your information would look like in your chosen design. Perhaps you need to have the design tweaked? Then this is the option for you! We create electronic proofs of your chosen Save the Date. You can make changes to your proof until you are happy with them. We don’t restrict the number of changes within reason. If we don’t hear from you for 10 days, then we will presume that you were happy with the most recent proof and close the order out. Please note that an electronic sample is not suitable for printing at home. It is purely for you to see what your information will look like in your chosen design.
Proofs- Please note that all proofs are shown on a white background irrespective of your chosen card type. Please always read any annotations on your proof with regards to card colour and size.
The one question everybody asks us is “Can we change x, y or z?”. The answer is YES! We fully customise everything so if you’d prefer to word your Save the Dates differently from those pictured then just tell us when placing your order. Perhaps you’d prefer to save the date for some other event? No problem, they are fully customisable. Need the colour or design tweaking or a different font? Just let us know when ordering.
Printed on thick 330gsm smooth white or ivory card stock or on our Premium 350gsm Cream Textured card, these save the dates come with a hole punched in the top and your choice of twine or double-sided satin ribbon.
A6 is half the size of A5 and twice the size of A7
A7 is the smallest and is half of an A6
C6 envelope fits an A6 card
C7 envelope fits an A7 card

Select the relevant options from the drop-down menus and add your chosen sample to your basket. Please click on the Information icon for an explanation of options available. Either include the information for your card with the order or email it to us afterwards at your convenience. Please do not send personal details for a Generic Sample. These are picked at random in your chosen design.
Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create an electronic proof (Personalised Samples and Electronic Samples only) using the information you have supplied usually within 2 working days. The proof will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proof within reason. Once you are happy with it, let us know. If you have ordered a Personalised Sample, it will be sent to print and mailed to you. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us after 3 working days, please get in touch.
We normally print a Save the Date order within 3 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 7 days plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs. Generic Samples are normally dispatched within 1 – 3 working days.
After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 10 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.
Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded).
*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.
If you require any other shipping such as Express or shipping abroad then please contact us separately for a quote.
FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add priority processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 full working day from approving your proofs.

If you’d like to see a sample before you make your choice, you’re in the right place. We have 3 types of sample available depending on whether you’d like it personalised and/or printed. This first piece of wedding stationery is a great way to try out a design and colour scheme. Once you’re happy with your sample you can order the full quantity knowing exactly what you’ll be receiving.
